Virtuoso guitarist and composer Scott Szeryk’s career as a musician has been evolving for decades. As a graduate of both the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Guitar Institute of Technology, his passion and constant determination to take his music to the next level have led him down many paths both personally and professionally.

Scott’s experiences on the road and in the studio, as both a composer and a performer, have helped to pave the way for his third album – Transcendence (Nov 2015), the long awaited follow-up to his previous albums Guitar Manifesto (2012) and Szeryk (2007)

As a live performer, Scott has taken the stage either solo or as the lead guitarist in various ensembles and bands. He’s delivered his ruthless riffs and versatile style to audiences ranging in size from dozens to thousands. Some of his career highlights have included opening for Canadian rock legend Kim Mitchell, and performing the pre-game anthems at the Rogers Centre and Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and Budweiser Gardens in his hometown London, Ontario.

Scott’s recent North American performances have included an 11-show tour including stops in Houston and Dallas, TX with the North Texas All-Stars. As well, he’s delivered several clinic performances for Ernie Ball Music Man®, PreSonus® and Graphtech Guitar Labs®.

Among Scott’s proudest accomplishments, for over 25 years, the Szeryk Guitar Academy has been one of North America’s most successful guitar schools. As the founder and main instructor, Scott teaches, coaches and mentors guitarists of all skill levels, ages and interests.
